KARATE - DO KUSHIN KAI
KARATE-DO is a martial art designed to develop character. Through practical training, Karateka will be prepared to overcome any obstacles throughout his life, emotional, personal or professional.
KARATE-DO is a discipline created for self-defense, which is executed with empty hands. The arms and legs are systematically trained to ensure that any attack arrived by surprise can be controlled with a demonstration of effective power similar to real weapons.
KARATE-DO helps improve coordination, psychomotor and reflexes. In addition to physical well-being, it provides values and principles based on respect, effort and overcoming.
The purpose of our school is to train good people through the continued practice of karate.

KARATE FOR CHILDREN
Karate can be practiced for children from 4-5 years old, which is when your locomotive device is running out and children already control their movements and are aware of how far they can reach. However, depending on the age of the children, this will be the types of exercises and techniques that will be performed during the classes:
Karate for children between 4 to 8 years old:
In this stage of initiation to martial art, children, in a fun and entertaining way, will slowly learn what Karate means and everything that implies. They will learn to channel their energy and strength, respect the other classmates, the teacher and get to know themselves better. They will also develop their abilities, skills and potential within the sport and may extrapolate them into their daily lives. Already from this first stage, as learning increases, the child performs a series of exams that allow him to change the color of his belt; That is, increase their karate level.
Karate for children between 9 a 15 years old:
From the age of nine it's really true when the boy or girl begins to practice karate. The teacher during the classes teaches the children to perfect techniques, movements and figures of this martial art. At this stage, as the learning increases, the child performs a series of exams that allow him to change the color of his belt; That is, increase their karate level.
In our Dojo we focus on raising children as people, always with a pedagogical approach and having fun, but under principles that are fundamental Karate-Do considerations: respect, honor, loyalty, eagerness for overcoming and non-violence.

O-SENSEI & KUSHINKAI HISTORY
KARATE-DO KUSHIN KAI was founded in 1946 with the name of Karate-Do Kenkyu Kai by the teacher AKIO NOZOE, with the intention of being able to help young people without work to have a new illusion of living, after disaster of II World War in Japan.
Nozoe Sensei, during his youth in Japan, practiced the style Gozyo Ryu. Later he went to Okinawa and there he practiced Shorin Ryu's style with Shoshin Nagamine Sensei. When he returned to Japan, he visited Nakayama Sensei (Shotokan style), Otsuka (Wado Ryu) and in Osaka he practiced Shito Ryu. All this trajectory was with Tesshin Aok Senseii, who was the teacher of Kendo and Iaido, and who inherited the dojo from the Nitenichi Ryu style of the famous and legendary Samurai Miyamoto Musashi.
In this way the KUSHIN KAI style was born.
Master Nozoe was greatly impressed by the work of the Shoto Kan style, especially the Kihon, and the great respect among masters, disciples, and upper and lower grades. For this reason he adapted this type of work in his Dojo.
In Catalonia, specifically in Barcelona, the KARATE-DO KUSHIN KAI was introduced in 1977 by the hand of Master KENJI HAYASHI, who founded FUJI DOJO in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona) and began to convey his knowledge of Karate -Do. To this day the school continues operative and in it hundreds of people have been trained. This year 2017 marks the 40th anniversary of its opening.
